Apple To Set Up Development Centre In India

There have been rumors swirling around for a while about Apple opening retail outlets in India, but turns out the Cupertino giant has bigger plans for the Asian nation. Apple will reportedly be investing $25 million in a development center in Hyderabad India, the first the company is about to undertake outside of the US. About this new development, an Apple spokesperson said "We've been investing to expand our operations in India and are thrilled to have passionate customers and a vibrant developer community across the country." India, with its population of over 1.3 billion is currently experiencing a technological boom with overwhelming internet and mobile penetration rates, hence, it doesn't come as a complete surprise that the Apple is willing to invest in India.
