The Westin Dhaka presents “Gourmet Kebab Fest” – A celebration of global Kebab flavours

The Westin Dhaka, in partnership with Bank Asia PLC, is delighted to unveil the "Gourmet Kebab Fest", a signature culinary celebration showcasing the artistry and authentic flavors of kebabs from across the globe.

Guests are invited to experience this indulgent celebration from 3rd to 13th September 2025 at the hotel's award-winning Seasonal Tastes Restaurant, located on Level 2 of The Westin Dhaka in Gulshan-2.

The inaugural ceremony of the festival was held on 3rd September, 2025 at The Westin Dhaka, where high officials from the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Egypt Air Bangladesh, Prime Partner Bank Asia PLC, Food Bloggers, and Media were present. H.E. Mr. Omar Fahmy (Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Bangladesh), Mr. Mostafa Magdy Elkady (District Manager, Egypt Air Bangladesh) and Mr. Syed Zulkar Nayen (DMD & Head of Retail Marketing, Bank Asia PLC) were the Chief Guests along with Md. Shakawath Hossain (Chief Executive Officer, Unique Hotel & Resorts PLC). They, together with expatriate chefs specializing in kebabs and senior officials of The Westin Dhaka, officially inaugurated the festival through a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The event then continued with a curated tasting session where guests enjoyed the authentic flavors of the festival's signature dishes.

Internationally renowned kebab specialist Chef Sait Dursun guided by Executive Chef Swapan Rozario and Chef Rimoun Obaid, the Gourmet Kebab Fest brings together an extraordinary selection of flavors that celebrate the heritage of kebabs from around the world.

From Egypt's traditional Halla Kebab, marinated in earthy spices and slow-grilled to perfection, and the iconic Kofta Kebab of minced lamb or beef blended with parsley and onion, to Turkey's world-famous Doner Kebab roasted on a vertical rotisserie, each dish reflects authenticity and artistry. Guests can savor Middle Eastern fusion with a charcoal-infused Lobster Kebab, the aromatic garlic-and-herb kebabs of Lebanon, Afghanistan's bold and rustic Chapli Kebab, Morocco's saffron and paprika marinated lamb, and Greece's beloved Souvlaki served with pita and tzatziki. South Asia adds its own richness with the smoky Old Dhaka style Sutli Kebab and Pakistan's juicy Lahori Seekh Kebab, while modern fusion takes form in the Charcoal Lamb Shank Kebab, slow-cooked to tenderness and finished over fire. The fine selection of these dishes showcased the heritage of kebabs and elevated the dining experience at The Westin Dhaka's Seasonal Tastes restaurant with exquisite kebab offerings.

Complementing the diverse Kebabs, guests will also enjoy a variety of regional classics including slow-cooked Mutton Nehari, fragrant Biryaniand an array of authentic delicacies. To conclude the dining journey, the dessert station offers indulgent favorites such as Om Ali, Assorted Baklavas, Turkish Revani, Tulumba, Moshabak, a Cascading Chocolate Fountain, Rich Mousse Cake, and more.

The Gourmet Kebab Fest will be available exclusively for dinner and the buffet is priced at BDT 8,950 net per person.
