Electro Mart bags two SDG Brand Champion Awards
Electro Mart Ltd, which manufactures Konka, Gree and Haiko electronics products in Bangladesh, has won two awards at the SDG Brand Champion Awards 2026.
The awards recognise the company’s contributions to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through the manufacturing, marketing and after-sales service of electronics products in Bangladesh.
Electro Mart Group has been carrying out initiatives aimed at combating poverty and inequality, generating employment, protecting the climate and environment, and contributing to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in Bangladesh.
The company also integrates sustainability across its production processes and product life cycle by adopting green technologies, renewable energy, responsible materials and eco-friendly design principles. Its manufacturing practices align with several SDGs, notably Goals 7, 8, 9, 12 and 13.
Nurul Afser, deputy managing director of Electro Mart Group, received the awards at a ceremony held recently at the Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel in Dhaka, according to a press release.
“Every recognition brings new responsibility, making us even more committed and motivated to continue our work in the future,” Nurul said.
“We express our deep gratitude to our customers, well-wishers, buyers and consumers for their unwavering trust, endless love and confidence in our products and services,” he added.
A total of 59 sustainable brand initiatives were recognised for their contributions to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in Bangladesh at the SDG Brand Champion Awards 2026.
