Stocks fall in early trading

Stocks on the Dhaka Stock Exchange fell in the morning trade today.
The DSEX, the benchmark index of the premier bourse, lost 13.43 points, or 0.27 percent, to stand at 4,922.17 as of 11:18 am.
The Shariah-based DSES index edged up 0.12 percent to 1,095.29, while the DS30, comprising blue-chip stocks, declined 0.12 percent to 1,821.88.
Turnover, a key indicator of market activity, stood at Tk 98.84 crore during the session.
Of the 395 issues traded, 156 advanced, 144 declined, and 82 remained unchanged.
Shares of Magura Multiplex increased the highest, rising more than 9 percent, while Dutch-Bangla Bank suffered the highest fall, dropping 10 percent.
