Rival panels submit nominations for BGMEA elections

With the biennial election of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) scheduled for 31 May, two panels today submitted their nomination papers to contest the poll.

In the BGMEA election, two panels — the Forum and Sammilito Parishad — are contesting, according to a BGMEA statement.

Mahmud Hasan Khan (Babu) submitted his nomination as the panel leader of the Forum.

Meanwhile, former BGMEA president Faruque Hassan submitted the nomination papers on behalf of Sammilito Parishad panel leader Abul Kalam.
