Provati Insurance’s profit drops 41% in 2022

Provati Insurance Company Limited posted a more than 41 per cent year-on-year decline in profit Tk 10.16 crore in the financial year that ended on December 31.

The profit stood at Tk 17.33 crore in 2021.

The company, thus, reported earnings per share of Tk 2.52 for 2022, which was Tk 4.30 in 2021.

The net asset value per share dropped to Tk 20.68 from Tk 22.34 while the net operating cash flow per share plummeted to Tk 1.89 from Tk 7.07.

The board of directors of Provati Insurance has recommended a 12 per cent cash dividend for 2022.
