The announcement came from a press meet held in the auditorium of Capital Market Journalists' Forum in Dhaka.
The objective of the Food and Chemical Lab Expo 2022 is to highlight the strong capacity of the network of food and chemical laboratories of the country in a bid to build public trust in them and to ensure safe food for all.
Food Minister Sadhan Chandra Majumder will inaugurate the expo.
The day-long expo targets to create an effective network between public and private sector laboratories, said Md Abdul Kayowm, chairman of the BFSA.

The expo will be a platform to share knowledge and experiences about technologies, best practices, and international standards in food safety issues, he added.
