Sheba Fintech gets PSP licence

Sheba Fintech Ltd, an IT service and consultation provider of Bangladesh, has received the payment service provider licence from Bangladesh Bank.

The licence will enable Sheba to roll out its own mobile wallet.

Sheba Fintech has been provided with the licence on some conditions, the central bank said in a circular today.

However, the banking regulator did not mention the conditions in the circular.

Sheba Fintech works for providing individual users and online and offline businesses with simplified payment experience.
