DSE gets new chief financial officer

Abdul Matin Patwary has joined Dhaka Stock Exchange as chief financial officer, the premier bourse said in a statement yesterday.

Before joining DSE, Patwary has been the finance director of BASF Bangladesh, a subsidiary of German-based multinational chemical company BASF SE.

Patwary brings experiences of working with PricewaterhouseCoopers, PA Consulting Group, Moody Group and Accenture, according to the statement.

He started his career as an assistant director with Dhaka Electric Supply Authority in 1992. Patwary is also an FCMA.
