RU teachers demand justice for writer Mushtaq’s death

Protesting the death of writer Mushtaq Ahmed in police custody who was arrested under the Digital Security Act, teachers and students of Rajshahi University (RU) demanded justice over the death.
Wearing black clothes around their mouth, they formed the protest programme at university's Martyred Intellectual Memorial around 11:00am today.
After the programme, Professor Souvik Reza of the Bangla department said, "The state must be accountable for this death. I urge everyone to speak out so that the state cannot carry out such killings without accountability. We will continue to express our position on any such issue in the state. We do not accept the Digital Security Act."
Teachers and students from different departments attended the programme.
