Nur sued under DSA in Ctg for 'instigating unrest'
A case was filed against former Ducsu VP Nurul Haque Nur under Digital Security Act in Chattogram on charges of instigating unrest through a Facebook live session.
Aziz Misir, a leader of Chattogram Metropolitan unit of Swechchhasebak League, filed the case with Kotwali Police Station yesterday.
"Nur was sued for instigation to destroy communal harmony and create unrest through his Facebook live," said Additional Deputy Commissioner (Public Relations) Shah Abdur Rauf of Chattogram Metropolitan Police quoting case statement.
"The case was filed under section 25(2), 28(2) 29(1) and 31(2) of Digital security Act," Assistant Commissioner (AC) (Kotwali Zone) Noble Chakma of CMP said.
