German ambassador meets expatriates’ welfare minister to discuss migrant issues

German Ambassador in Dhaka Peter Fahrenholtz today called on Expatriates' Welfare Minister Imran Ahmad at the latter's office.

During the meeting around noon, they discussed several issues including Germany's technical support to send skilled Bangladeshi migrant workers abroad and enhancing Bangladeshi migrant workers' skills, says a press release of the expatriates' welfare ministry.

High-placed officials of the ministry, among others, were present during the meeting, says the release.
