Fire in Dhaka’s Banani under control; over 50 managed to leave building
Fire broke out at a six-storey building in Dhaka's Banani today.
Four units of firefighters brought the fire under control one hour after it originated on the third floor of the building at Banani road 11, Rasel Shikder, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence, told The Daily Star.
Banani Police Station Officer-in-Charge Azam Mia said when the fire broke out, more than 50 people of the building managed to come out through an adjacent building.
No casualty was reported yet.
