Ex-VP Nur sued in another case under DSA in Sylhet
Former Ducsu VP Nurul Haque Nur has been sued in another case under the Digital Security Act (DSA) in Sylhet for hurting "religious sentiments" of Awami League activists and supporters and defaming the party with his derogatory comments.
"Kishor Jahan Sourav, a former Chhatra League leader of Sylhet City unit, filed the case with Kotwali Police Station this afternoon," SM Abu Farhad, officer-in-charge of the station, said to The Daily Star.
In the case details, Sourav mentioned that Nur's speech on Facebook live on April 14 hurt "religious sentiments" of Awami League activists and supporters as he termed them "fake Muslims," reports our Sylhet correspondent.
Till now, three cases have been filed against Nur under the DSA for the comment on Facebook live on April 14.
