Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader today urged everyone to refrain from saying anything that would make the army questionable or controversial.
They are now on field to maintain law and order ahead of the upcoming national election, Quader said while addressing an electioneering rally at Ataturka High School ground in Daganbhuiyan upazila of Feni district this afternoon.
Pointing at BNP, the AL leader said, “You earlier made controversial the Election Commission, judiciary department and law enforcing agencies including police. Don’t make the army controversial,” said Obaidul.
Saying that a vested quarter can create anarchy from the early hours of the voting day, he said that people should remain alert so that no evil forces can mar the election.
He also urged the leaders and activists of the AL-led grand alliance to work unitedly for further development of the country.
