Ek Prithibi Prem premieres today

In Old Dhaka, legendary actor ATM Shamsuzzaman's anticipation builds up as he inquires from his wife almost every morning whether anyone from the crew of “Ek Prithibi Prem” has dropped by. Directed by SA Haque Olike, the director has promised the actor along with the entire film crew that they would attend the film premiere together in movie theatre halls. “I am very excited to visit cinema halls to watch the film,” said the veteran actor, “in recent years, I have not worked in a film as good – Olike is an extremely intelligent director. The story is magnificent and had us immersed so deeply; it never felt as though we were shooting for a film. I urge viewers to flock the theatres and to watch the film with full focus.”

SA Haque Olike informed that today 50 cinema halls will be venues for the premiere of “Ek Prithibi Prem.” The film, which is also scripted by the director, includes a commanding cast of senior actors along with young and promising actors such as Irene, Bipasha Kabir and more. “All I can say is that this film will cater to the audience's taste whilst also sending a strong social message,” said the director regarding the film.

Also appearing alongside ATM Shamsuzzaman are renowned actors Syed Hasan Imam, Abul Hayat, Amirul Haque Chowdhury and Sharmili Ahmed. Regarding her experiences Sharmili Ahmed stated, “I am truly elated at having to work with such a talented and respected cast. Every actor in the industry has a desire to fulfill in his or her career, and I feel that mine has been fulfilled by having the opportunity to work with such commanding actors, and a script that can only be described as powerfully moving.”
