Mosharraf Karim and Aparna Ghosh, two of the busiest TV stars of our time, are pairing up in a single-episode TV play “Misfire”. Written by Mesbah Uddin Sumon and directed by Himel Ashraf, shooting for the play wrapped up recently.
About the play, Mosharraf said “I've worked with Himel Ashraf before. He has a knack for telling a complete story, and this was no different. Aparna has done very well in it, too.” Aparna, on the other hand remarked “It's always great to work with Mosharraf, because I feel like I have a lot to learn from him.”
The director meanwhile informed that the play will air on a satellite channel soon.
Mosharraf and Aparna are also currently seen in TV series “Adarsha Lipi”, under Hasan Morshed's direction. Mosharraf has his upcoming film “Oggatonama” (directed by Tauquir Ahmed) awaiting release, while Aparna is also gearing up for her next big-screen project – “Bhubon Majhi”, co-starring prolific Kolkata-based actor Parambrata.
