Syed Shamsul Haq turns 80 today

Celebrated litterateur Syed Shamsul Haq steps into 80 today (December 27). Marking his 80th birthday, Syed Haq Jayanti Parishad will hold a special programme at the National Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy today at 6pm.

The event will feature a discussion and a cultural programme. Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor, cultural personalities Ramendu Majumdar, Syed Hasan Imam, Ataur Rahman, Mamunur Rashid, Nasiruddin Yousuff, Liaquat Ali Lucky and others will take part in the discussion.

Noted singer Aditi Mohsin and Khairul Anam Shakil will present songs at the programme, while Warda Rihab will present dance pieces.
