Stars who are releasing books at the Ekushey Boi Mela

The much awaited Ekushey Boi Mela opens tomorrow. Like every year, besides the literary professionals, many stars of the showbiz world have authored their own books, which will be released at the fair.

Noted actor Abul Hayat writes books for the Ekushey Boi Mela regularly. This year, he will be coming up with three books. Out of the three, Time Bank, a story book and Priyo Opriyo, a compilation of five plays, are published by Priyo Bangla Publishers. The other one, Echhara Ashar, a story book, is published by Boi Pustok Prakashan.

Lux Superstar Shanarei Devi Shanu will be coming up with a novel, Lipstick by Anwesha Publication and a poetry book. Singer Putul, who wrote a book for the fair last year, will be returning with Kalo Golaper Bhitor Theke Utsharito Alobrittyanto, published by Tamralipi Publications. The book will be available from the first day of the Ekushey Boi Mela.

Naznin Hasan Chumki is a prominent name in theatre and television. Besides acting, she has directed and written many plays and scripts for tele-fictions as well. She is making her debut as a writer with the novel Binita, published by Nagori Prokashon. On the other hand, singer Lopa Hossain’s novel, Amar Ekta Tumi Chai, is published by Desh Publications.

Renowned director Animesh Aich’s second novel Jamini by Tamralipi will also be available. Popular singer Asif Akbar will be making his debut as a writer with Potkora to Manhattan.
