"The aim of this arrangement is to share the struggles and unique stories of the senior artistes who have played a vital role in keeping mainstream dance alive in the world of performing arts," said Munmun Ahmed. The show, hosted by Munmun Ahmed has, already premiered seven episodes with prominent artistes including the likes of Amanul Haque, Laila Hasan, Kajol Ibrahim and Minu Haque, among others.
Eminent dancer Dulal Talukdar will be featured in the upcoming episode. "Dulal Talukdar began his journey during the 60s, when there were few male dancers here", said Munmun, "He is also a seasoned international performer."
Munmun Ahmed added that the response for the programme was overwhelming, and is hoping for sponsors to come forward, so that she can expand the show to inspire young performing artistes.
