Muhurat held for Moner Moto Manush Pailam Na

A ceremony for the muhurat (inauguration) of the film Moner Moto Manush Pailam Na was held recently at Dhaka Club. Helmed by Zakir Hossain Raju, the film stars popular duo Shakib Khan and Bubly.

Many popular names from the film industry attended the event. State Minister for Ministry of Information, Dr Md Murad Hasan graced the event as the chief guest. Also present were Member of Parliament, Nurunnabi Chowdhury, president of Bangladesh Motion Picture Exhibitors Association, Iftekharuddin Naushad, renowned director Shohanur Rahman Shohan, president of Bangladesh Film Directors Association, Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar and many others.

During his address, the chief guest Dr Md Murad Hasan, State Minister for the Ministry of Information, mentioned that the film has a lot of potential and hoped that it will be a huge success. The director of Moner Moto Manush Pailam Na informed that he has directed various films throughout his career and is rather optimistic about his latest venture. He believes that the film will help bring audiences back to movie theatres. The film is slated for release during the upcoming Eid ul Adha.

In his speech addressing the audience, Shakib Khan mentioned that his first National Film Award was for a Zakir Hossain Raju directorial. He also emphasised on the fact that the plot of Moner Moto Manush Pailam Na appealed to him emotionally and he believes that it will have a similar impression on the audience. Shakib Khan also thanked the production house, Desh Bangla Multimedia, for stepping forward at a crucial time to help make the film.

Bubly, who also starred opposite Shakib Khan in Password, which is running successfully nationwide, said that she is equally hopeful about Moner Moto Manush Pailam Na.
