A joyous Eid for the stars
From spending quality time with friends and loved ones to having delicious meals, the festivities of Eid-ul-Fitr are something everyone truly looks forward to. In this case, Bangladesh’s famous faces are no exception. In a candid chat with The Daily Star, popular actors reveal what they have been up to during the Eid holidays.
Shakib Khan: This Eid, I was occupied with the promotional campaigns and the release of my film Password, which was produced under the banner of my own production house, SK Films. It is exciting to visit cinema theatres and observe my fans’ reactions to the film. We have received a tremendously good response for Password so far.

Zahid Hasan: My Eid holidays are incomplete without a trip to my hometown, Sirajganj. I go there every year to pay my respects at my parents’ graves and pray for them. I also like catching up with my childhood friends there.
Mahfuz Ahmed: After celebrating Eid with my mother in Dhaka, I headed out to Australia to spend some quality time with my wife and kid. We want to visit some beautiful locations of the country and have a great family vacation!
Apurba: I spent Eid with my parents, wife and son in Dhaka. Many of my relatives came over to our home on the occasion. Generally, I do not prefer going abroad during the Eid holidays. Rather, I like meeting up with my friends and loved ones in Dhaka. Nevertheless, I might go on a road-trip to somewhere nearby the city, with my family.
