An evening with the team of ‘Gondi’

Fakhrul Arefeen Khan, the director of the upcoming film Gondi, hosted a star studded evening titled ‘Gondi Shondha’, recently at a convention centre in the capital. Many renowned artistes from the entertainment industry, including the likes of Morshedul Islam, Tariq Anam Khan, Neema Rahman, Masum Reza, Aparna Ghosh, Maznun Mizan and Pintu Ghosh, graced the occasion with their presence.

The programme commenced with a song voiced by Sajed Fatemi, followed by a song from Gondi by Pintu Ghosh.

The lead actors of the film, Suborna Mustafa and celebrated India actor Sabyasachi Chakrabarty, addressed the audience during the event. Suborna Mustafa mentioned that she agreed to star in the film once the director narrated the plot to her. Sabyasachi Chakrabarty too, agreed to be a part of the film due to its intriguing story. He felt that the film will only be successful if the audience went to the cinemas to watch Gondi. Fakhrul Arefeen Khan said that the film was made in such a manner, that it will appeal to the mass audience.

To make the evening more special, the team of Gondi, along with the guests, celebrated Sabyasachi Chakrabarty’s upcoming birthday which is on September 8, much to the actor’s delight.

The film resumed its shoot from yesterday, and will take place across various locations in Dhaka.
