Eros Now launched in Bangladesh
Eros Now, the popular entertainment OTT platform and web channel, was launched in Bangladesh on August 6. It caters to more than 186.9 million registered users and 26.2 million monthly paying subscribers worldwide. The platform known for a range of original web series and shorts will also showcase Bangladeshi content globally from now on.
LBC Media is the distribution partner of Eros Now in Bangladesh. They will be working to expand their reach as well as promote the brand in the country. The organisation is also representing Addatimes as the distribution and marketing partner and content curator.
"Eros Now is one of the most popular online streaming giants offering a wide variety of content. Our distribution network will focus on serving the video-on-demand service across the country. The execution of the OTT platform will be carried out by LBC Media Entertainment Company in Bangladesh," shares Nusrat Jarin , Head of Marketing of LBC.
On the other hand, Rishika Lulla Singh, Chairman of Eros Digital, said, "Strategic market expansion has further strengthened the growth of Eros Now. The association with Allianz Holdings will enable us to offer our wide-ranging Indian entertainment content, especially popular Bengali movies, to the consumers based in Bangladesh."
