Ekushey Padak-winning stage and TV actor, director Aly Zaker was admitted to the CCU at Bangladesh Specialized Hospital, due to cardiac issues. He was taken to the hospital in the capital on November 17, after he fell ill.

He will be discharged from the hospital today. "My father is doing much better than before. I ask all our well-wishers to pray for him," his son, celebrated actor Iresh Zaker, told The Daily Star. "We are taking him home today, after consulting with the doctors."
