Abul Hayat to make silver-screen return with”Dai Mukti”
Eminent actor Abul Hayat, who recently recovered from Covid-19, will return to screen with a film tilted "Dai Mukti", directed by Badiul Alam Kokhon.
The National Award winning actor plays an elderly man in the film whose children had sent him and his wife to an old age home, much to their disapproval. However, eventually as the days pass, he creates a movement with the other parents of the old home who had also been abandoned by their children.
"I was moved by the story, and hence I agreed to work in it. However, I am doing this work with hundred percent awareness and I am strictly following health safety rules." He says. The shooting which is still ongoing in Dhaka has also taken place in Pubail and Wora.
Last seen in Tauquir Ahmed's "Spulingo" before getting infected, the actor had spent several days at home as per the advice of his doctor to recover from Covid. However, last week he returned to acting, starring in tele-fiction "Baba Tomake Bhalobashi", alongside talented actors Mamunur Rashid and Fazlur Rahman Babu. The three starred in a project together after a long time.
"I was getting tired of sitting at home for a long time. Then when I started getting offers for dramas and movies, I decided to return to work with the permission of my family." shares Abul Hayat.
Moreover, he has begun writing his autobiography and has already met great progress. "Writing in isolation, whenever I am getting the time. Although I had to take a break after getting infected, I would love to go back to writing it."
