DJ Khaled retains Billboard top spot

DJ Khaled's “Grateful” notched a second week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart -- the first album to spend more than one week at the top in two months. In the week ending July 6, “Grateful” earned 70,000 equivalent album units (down 53 percent), according to Nielsen Music. Traditional album sales comprised 16,000 (down 68 percent) of that sum.

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the US based on multi-metric consumption, which includes traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA).

Debuting at the second spot is Calvin Harris' “Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1”, earning the superstar DJ/producer his highest charting album yet. It was followed by Kendrick Lamar's “DAMN”, Imagine Dragons' “Evolve” and Ed Sheeran's “÷” in the top five.
