Sahana Bajpaie suffers from vocal haemorrhage, to take break from music

Renowned singer Sahana Bajpaie will be taking a break from music for a month due to a major haemorrhage in her voice box.
The Rabindra Sangeet exponent announced the news through her Facebook status.
"A stroboscopic test has revealed that my voice-box has a major haemorrhage. I have been prescribed not to sing and talk/scream for at least a month for it to heal," the post read.
"Please bear with me as I bear with my silent self. A self that I am yet to discover! People that I essentially scream at, or about, are requested to stay away, as I would politely, too," adds the singer.

Sahana Bajpaie has a huge fan following both in Kolkata and Bangladesh for her soulful renditions. The "Ekta Chele" singer won the "The Bengal's Pride Award" 2018 for her contribution to Arts and Culture in the UK and also stayed in Bangladesh from 2000-2008.
