Rabindra festival concludes in Shahzadpur Kuthibari
The 158th birth anniversary of noble laurate Rabindranath Tagore was observed with a two-day long festival at the Tagore’s establishment Shahzadpur Kuthibari in Sirajganj, which concluded yesterday.
The festival was inaugurated by state minister for Information and Communication Technology, Junaid Ahmed Palak. Lawmaker of Sirajganj-6 constituency, Hasibur Rahman Shwapan spoke as the special guest at the event. A discussion, chaired by Md Shafikul Islam, Deputy Director of local government department in Sirajgan, took place with the presence of Rabindra researchers including Nasim Uddin Malitha, Koruna Rani Shaha, and Abdul Aziz. A cultural programme was also arranged in the festival where various artistes performed.
