Milon's busy days on the silver screen

Anisur Rahman Milon has stepped from the theatre stage onto the TV screen and is now off to films, and enjoying his success in the new media too. His latest film, “Bhalobashar Golpo”, was released this Friday across 51 cinema halls and will release in another 30. Ananya Mamun's directorial project sees him cast against newcomer Munia Afreen.
“I was at the Balaka Cinema Hall the day after the film's release, and received a great response from the audience,” Milon told The Daily Star. He also shared plans of going out of town to promote the film, his second as lead actor.
Another film of Milon's, “Target”, is set for release soon.
Meanwhile, Milon started shooting “Rajneeti”, his new film, at the BFDC yesterday. Directed by Bulbul Biswas, the film will see him co-star with Shakib Khan for the first time while the other star is Apu Biswas. Milon informed that the story of the film is based on a love triangle in a politically-influential family.
