The screenplay, dialogue, costumes and poster of the film has been also written by the director. The main character of the film is played by actor and head of theatre group Nandika, Alok Ghosh. It is the first film produced by Chottogram Satyajit Charcha Kendra. The film was dedicated to the master filmmaker Satyajit Ray and a prime name in the Bangladesh short film movement, Mohammed Khasru.
It has a touch of magic realism. The main character is a homeless man who earns his living by selling objects he finds in the wasteland. The film presents a critic of effects of capitalism and imperialism of the developed nations over the underdeveloped countries in a metaphorical way.
