3 held with crude bombs at Motijheel

Police picked up three youths while fleeing after exploding some six crude bombs at Motijheel in Dhaka this evening.

The law enforcers recovered five live crude bombs from their possession, an officer at Motijheel Police Station told The Daily Star.

The detainees were identified as Sri Ratan, 20, Abdullah Al Mamun, 19, and Omar Faruk, 20. 

The policeman said the youths blasted around six crude bombs in front of the Janata Bank building in Motijheel around 5:30pm.
