Printing mistake: Technical board postpones 2 HSC exams
Bangladesh Technical Education Board postponed today's (November 6, 2022) Bangla first part HSC exams for both new and old syllabuses of class XI students due to printing mistakes in question papers.
The exams were set to be held at 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and the new date will be announced soon, said Prof Tapan Kumar Sarkar, chief of the inter-education board coordination committee and chairman of Dhaka Education Board.
Education ministry sources said in some centres it was found that students following the old syllabus got questions made for new syllabus while candidates of the new syllabus got question papers of the old syllabus.
Technical education board chairman Ali Akbar Khan said they postponed the exams as many candidates complained about question mix-up.
"We got such complaints from many centres across the country," he said.
About 1.7 lakh students were scheduled to sit for the exams which are part of the HSC exams.
