Telecommunications brand Banglalink deployed nearly 4,000 new Base Transceivers Stations (BTS) last year, as part of its nationwide network expansion drive.

The expanded network has enabled more customers across the country to enjoy its fastest 4G network and quality digital services.

For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel.

To celebrate the milestone, an event was held at Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) in the presence of Shyam Sunder Sikder, Chairman, BTRC, and Erik Aas, Chief Executive Officer, Banglalink, among others.

With the successful deployment of these BTS sites, Banglalink's total sites increased to more than 14,500, resulting in around 40% expansion of Banglalink's total coverage.
