AIUB offers specialized degrees in Law, Journalism, and Mass Communication to foster social justice and ethical storytelling. Simultaneously, the university remains at the forefront of technological advancement by offering programs in Cyber Security, Data Science, and Industrial & Production Engineering. These courses are meticulously designed to meet the evolving requirements of the global industrial landscape.

To inspire technological creativity, AIUB provides well-equipped laboratories, innovation centers, and cutting-edge research initiatives. For Computer Science students, a dedicated Virtual Reality (VR) lab enables safe experimentation and the visualization of complex theoretical concepts. One of the university’s most functional research hubs, the Dr. Anwarul Abedin Institute of Innovation, currently operates a government-affiliated project focused on Television Rating Points (TRP), which has been in active production for over two years.

Cutting-Edge Technology and Modern Labs

Recent additions to the campus further foster a culture of innovation, most notably the AIUB Cyber Forensic, Animation, Nanotechnology  and the AI Laboratories. The Linux-based cyber forensic lab was established with a vision to add a new dimension to the country’s digital data analysis sector by inspiring innovation at the student level.

The recently inaugurated AI Lab represents the institutional vision of continuous technological upgradation. Equipped with advanced NVIDIA DGX Spark systems, the lab aims to enhance Bangladesh’s artificial intelligence ecosystem and help the nation achieve “AI sovereignty.” Furthermore, the university integrates interactive education through a specialized Moot Court for law students, which serves as a venue for regular practice and national competitions. To propagate education beyond traditional age restrictions, the Institute of Continuing Education offers a wide array of vocational and professional courses.

AIUB maintains a vibrant culture of student clubs and extracurricular activities, fostering both creativity and leadership. The campus features professional-grade sports facilities, including a cricket practice pitch, a football field, and designated courts for basketball, badminton, tennis, and volleyball. Notably, AIUB is the official education partner of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF), offering specialized scholarships for gifted athletes.

AIUB also champions gender inclusion as the only educational partner from Bangladesh for WePOWER (Women in Power Sector Professional Network). Looking toward the future, the university plans to install a renewable energy power plant, building upon its existing solar-roof manifestation. The university promotes cultural harmony through the inclusion of dedicated prayer rooms for Muslims, a small temple, a chapel, and a Buddhist prayer hall.
