Additionally, transportation cost is a significant expense for him, resulting in lost money and business hours. These gaps in the supply chain are causing him to lose up to 30% of potential revenue.

It is even more comforting to note that the adoption of such non-subsidized microinsurance service in Bangladesh would reduce the expenditure burden on the Government of Bangladesh (GoB) for climate change adaptation and disaster recovery.”
