Level 3 of YPS starts on June 15
Level 3 - Office Excellence of Young Professional Smartification (YPS), the online soft skills training programme, starts on June 15, 2020. Designed for young professionals and university students, this course has so far gathered more than 3500 registered participants. In a month, the Facebook Group has grown to a group of 6,300 young professionals and university students. 14 separate sessions have been conducted so far under Level 1 and Level 2. 51 university clubs and youth organisations have partnered up for this training programme.
Level 2 focused on Office Performance. it provided trainees with the fundamental knowledge required to excel in the office. For the sessions of Level 2 - Employee Performance, the initiators contacted many renowned personalities, including Md Tajdin Hassan, Head of Marketing at The Daily Star, Founding Member at Mission Save Bangladesh, U.S. State Department Alumni; Ayman Sadiq, Founder and CEO at 10 Minute School; Rakhshanda Rukham, Chairperson, Preneur Lab; Samid Razzak, Assistant Vice President of a Leading Multinational Bank; Mark Anupom Mollick, Senior Software Engineer at CodeCrafters International Ltd., Founder and Executive Consultant at Idean Consulting, Sadman Sadik, Chief Content Creator at Robi 10 Minute School; Rafsan Sabab, Host, What a Show!; Rafeed Elahi Chowdhury, Head of Product, Torun. They provided insights and valuable advice to the trainees during the informative session.
The certificates are authorised by Sonia Bashir Kabir, Founder of SBK Tech Ventures & SBK Foundation, Tajdin Hassan, and Md Sohan Haidear. The training is free of cost, and those who haven't taken Level 1 or 2 can start directly from Level 3. It's being conducted on the Facebook Group, 'Smartifier Academy Fight Club.'
In Level 3, the initiators are going to provide more in-depth knowledge. The focus of this level will be 'Office Excellence'. The topics are: Fundamentals of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), Leadership, Persuasion, Negotiation, How to Spot Lies, Time Management for Leaders and How to Ask for a Promotion.
The platform has become successful due to the collaborations with Star Youth (Media Partner), Torun (Strategic Partner), SpikeStory (Co-organiser), Zengage BD (Strategic Partner), SkillHub (Gift Partner) and youth organisations AHOBAN Foundation, AIESEC in NSU, Humanitarian Aid, Participatory Association to Nurture Development Activities (PANDA), Pioneer Hub, Youth Career Institute and Youth School for Social Entrepreneurs (YSSE).
