Khaled and uncapped Shohidul added to squad for Pak Test

Bangladesh added pacers Khaled Ahmed and Shohidul Islam to the squad for the first World Test Championship fixture against Pakistan, to begin from tomorrow at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram.
A few injury concerns regarding the pacers was stated as the reason behind the two last-minute inclusions by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).
"We have a few injury concerns with the pacers. Taskin [Ahmed] and Shoriful [Islam] are not available for this Test and we needed cover for the other seamers. Khaled and Shohidul are both fit and ready," BCB chief selector Minhajul Abedin was quoted as saying in a press release.
Khaled has played two Tests so far for Bangladesh with his last against New Zealand in Hamilton in 2019 while Shohidul, who made his international debut in the last T20I series against Pakistan, is uncapped in the longer version.
