Goals galore in women's hockey semifinals

BKSP and Kishoreganj District moved into the final of Brac Bank Women's Development Cup Hockey after wins in their respective semifinals at the Maulana Bhashani Hockey Stadium on Friday.

BKSP notched up a massive 12-0 win against Rajshahi, with Arpita Pal netting four goals.

Nadira Talukdar Ema and Keya Afroz Lima slotted a hattrick each while Tanni Khatun scored two goals in the one-sided affair, which BKSP led by 10-0 goals after the first half.

In the first semifinal, Kishoreganj came from behind to beat Jashore 2-1, with Jhuma Akter canceling out Mariam's 38th-minute goal in the 42nd minute before Ritu Khanom struck the winning goal four minutes from time.
