BCB honours Tamim, Mushfiqur and Shakib as '10k Club' members
During the presentation ceremony following the second Test match against Zimbabwe, Bangladesh stars Tamim Iqbal and Mushfiqur Rahim were presented with white blazers and crests for completing ten thousand runs in International Cricket.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) recognised the three cricketers for joining the '10k Club'. Tamim, Mushfiqur and Shakib Al Hasan have all reached 10 thousand runs in international cricket, although Shakib was not present in today's ceremony.
Among the Bangladeshi batsmen, Tamim was the first cricketer to reach the landmark in all three formats combined. Shakib Al Hasan attained the feat last year in March while Mushfiqur reached the landmark last month. All three cricketers have scored over 5,000 runs in ODI format alone.
