A reception ceremony was organised by the Bangladesh Shishu Ashikar Forum (BSAF) for the players who are going to represent Bangladesh in the upcoming Street Child Cricket World Cup, slated to played from April 30 to May 9 in London. The event took place at DRU’s Sagor-Runi auditorium at Segunbagicha in the capital yesterday.
Eight children will represent from Bangladesh will represent the country in the upcoming tournament with support from Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). Former Bangladesh captain and national selector Habibul Bashar will accompany the team during the tournament in England.
The participating children all grew up in the facilities and under the guidance of Leedo, a member organization of the BSAF.
