Emerging team's series with Ireland Wolves to begin tomorrow
Bangladesh Emerging team are set to begin their multi-format series against the Ireland Wolves, the A side of Irish national team with a four-day game at Chattogram's Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium tomorrow.
The Emerging team named against Ireland Wolves boasts national Test side's Saif Hassan, HP unit's Yasir Ali and leggie Aminul Islam Biplob in the squad alongside stars from the U-19 World Cup winning side such as Akbar Ali, Tanzid Hasan, Parvez Hossain Emon, Mahmudul Hasan Joy and Towhid Hridoy.
The series is set to be second international affair for Bangladesh cricket following West Indies's tour in January-February and the Bangladesh Emerging squad had begun preparations at ZACS in the first week of February.
Following the four-day match, Ireland Wolves will play five one-dayers from March 5 till March 15. The series moves to Dhaka for the last two one-dayers on March 12 and 14 followed by the two T20s slated for March 17 and 18 taking place at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.
