BCB XI waste strong start
The BCB XI could not capitalise on their positive start on the third day of their four dayer against Chhattisgarh State Cricket Sangh in the Dr (Capt) K. Thimmappiah Memorial tournament at the Alur-1 (Platinum Oval) in India yesterday.
The BCB XI bundled out Chhattisgarh for 257 in 77.3 overs after they had started the day on 210 for four. There were no big partnerships for Chhattisgarh on the day as they lost their remaining six wickets while adding just 47 runs.
However, after the exchange, BCB XI could only manage 150 all out in 62.1 overs yesterday. On the bright side, they will still take a 227-run lead going into the final day. A team high of 145-ball 63 came from all-rounder Ariful in the middle.
