BCB XI get huge win
BCB XI registered a whopping 10-wicket victory on the third day of their four-day match against KSCA Secretary's XI in the ongoing Dr (Capt) K. Thimmappiah Memorial tournament at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in India yesterday.
Secretary's XI started the day on 100 for three, trailing by 155 runs. Riding on a brilliant 117 off 136 balls from Abhinav Manohar and contributions from Vinay N Sagar (59 off 92) and Praveen Dubey (55 off 83), Secretary's XI managed a total of 340 runs in 85.2 overs. However, they could only set a target of 86 runs as they were trailing by 255 runs at the start of their second innings.
Openers Jahurul Islam and Shadman Islam remained unbeaten on 32 and 52 respectively as BCB XI chased the target down in just 24.1 overs.
