Bangladesh lose semifinal of Street Child Cricket World Cup
Bangladesh could not make it to the final of the inaugural Street Child Cricket World Cup as they lost by two runs against South India at Lords Cricket Ground in England today.
Bangladesh came agonisingly close as they managed 32 runs for the loss of three wickets in chase of the 34 for no loss posted by South India.
Bangladesh had reached the semifinal of the tournament by winning two of the four group stage matches they played on Monday. Despite losses to England and Tanzania, Bangladesh finished fourth in the standings with their five-run and seven-run victory over North India and Nepal respectively on Monday.
