‘How would I console my father?’

Mansur Hossain, 42, and his cousin Al Amin, 20, had gone to Siddikbazar of Gulistan to buy sanitary ware for Mansur's new flat.

Both died after an explosion at a commercial building there.

Kawsar Hossain, brother of Mansur, identified the bodies at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

"How would I console my father? My brother and cousin have died. Why did you [Mansur] go to the market today?" a crying Kawsar was saying in front of the DMCH.

He said Mansur owned a shop in Fulbaria area and lived in Shanir Akhra area.

Al Amin stayed in Mansur's home.

"I am at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital to take the bodies of my brothers. Where should I go? How would I console my father?" Kawsar was heard asking someone over the phone.
