EC monitoring elections thru 4435 CCTV cameras

The Election Commission (EC) is monitoring Gazipur City Corporation elections through CCTV cameras.

The commission has set up 4,435 CCTV cameras to monitor the elections, said EC sources.

Election Commissioner Brigadier General Ahsan Habib Khan (retd), Rashida Sultana, Md Alamgir and Anisur Rahman have been monitoring the polls since 8:00am today.

Voting in Gazipur City Corporation elections began this morning using electronic voting machines (EVMs).

The voting started at 8:00am and will continue until 4:00pm without any break.
