Amber Tamblyn Speaks Out Against Harrassment in Hollywood!
Amber Tamblyn recently spoke out against the harassment faced by women in Hollywood. She wrote a piece for The New York Times where she criticized James Woods as well as Hollywood for calling women who faced harassment as "liars". In the article titled I Am So Done with Not Being Believed, she recounts her own story from teen years, when the former Shark star hit on her and her friends in a diner. She also mentioned the time when she was 21 years old and was being harassed by a crew member. When she complained to a producer about it, the producer said, "Well, there are always two sides to a story." In her article, Amber discussed how women are still objectified and treated like second-class citizens in the world of showbiz and whenever they speak out against it, they are labeled as liars to suppress and shut them up. Amongst all the talk of equal pay for women in Hollywood, her article shed a lot of light on how far Hollywood really is giving women the rights they deserve.
