Tilda Swinton's Invigorating Session at Dhaka Lit Fest 2017
Tilda Swinton, one of the biggest luminaries in Hollywood, was an integral part of the session "Performances as Authorship" during the third day of Dhaka Lit Fest 2017. The session was moderated by the Bangladeshi writer Mr. Ahsan Akbar. Swinton shared experiences of her writing career and how writing helped her build a creative life. Her enthusiasm drew the audiences' attention when she mentioned Drumduan Upper School, a creative school co-founded by her which inspires children to write about their experiences of daily life activities, such as harvesting, building homes and cooking. Tilda Swinton is known worldwide for winning both the BAFTA Award and the Oscar in the Best Supporting Actress category for her role in the film Michael Clayton.
