Being the first female ambassador of Artist Spread and a rising star in the Bangladeshi music scene, Tashfee is a talented singer who has quickly made a name for herself. Possessing a unique singing style and an amazing voice, she has garnered notable attention from mainstream media as well as renowned musicians. Her latest single Shur was officially launched last Saturday, 12 May, at The Westin Dhaka, with famous artists such as Bappa Mazumder and Hamin Ahmed gracing the event. “I have other songs that were released before but Shur is definitely a special one to me,” said Tashfee regarding her brand new song, “I was involved both lyrically and melodically in the making of the song, thus I feel this is truly my first, very own original song.” The ecstatic singer further stated that the whole journey was an emotional ride for her and she is hopeful about the song's reception among listeners. “I am proud of everyone who was involved in bringing Shur to life. I have tried my best in creating something unique, and that makes me truly happy.” The music video of Shur will be released next week, which will be the first 'vertical' music video of Bangladesh. The lyrics of Shur were written by Tashfee and Shahrin Shahriar, and the music video will be officially distributed by Sony DADC and Creinse.
